In 2021, Designer Wellness saw the potential to improve sales at H-E-B, but needed guidance on optimizing their product mix and promotional spend. They partnered with Acosta to enhance their marketing and promotional presence at H-E-B, with a focus on trial, awareness, and revenue growth.
Through a collaborative, hands-on effort, Acosta helped Designer Wellness launch nine smoothie SKUs across 240 H-E-B locations. When a few SKUs underperformed, we swiftly adjusted the product mix while preserving shelf space by introducing a more efficient and cost-effective case pack. Despite the reduction in SKUs, Designer Wellness achieved double-digit growth in 2023.
With Acosta’s guidance on leveraging H-E-B Retail Media, Designer Wellness saw a 50% increase in sales during their first digital campaign, helping them edge closer to their $1 million annual revenue goal.
Today, H-E-B is Designer Wellness’ number one revenue-generating retailer, a result of true partnership and strategic identification of untapped market opportunities. Designer Wellness and Acosta continue to expand their success, with plans for even greater growth in the coming years. When the retailer, brand, and Acosta work in unison, success follows naturally.
